I'm confused. It's a good thing that major networks gave the corrupt men behind Watergate large amounts of money?
Ask any layman out there: Frost/Nixon is historicially significant because Nixon cried. That's the only thing that came out of that interview. The unpaid interviews that got David Frost to that moment - i.e. the shoeleather reporting of Woodward and Bernstien on Watergate - changed this country forever. The tear-filled eyes of a public official who got caught trying to end-run the Constitution is good TV I suppose, but it sure as hell ain't journalism.
Guess you get what you pay for.
