Thank you for saying exactly what I have been thinking about the Yankee Skipper. I cannot say it because I am too busy sputtering, swearing and otherwise being driven to fits of apoplexy watching these 2007 Yankees and the dismal management of the team by Saint Joe. Not using Rivera because the book says he should not is borderline nuts. I won't repeat what you've already said but I came across your article by accident ,but will now make it mandatory reading.. I hope Der Boss reads it and makes this the last year for Joe. He's been a good manager but it's time for someone new. AND, I'd feel this way no matter how positive the season turns out. I say this firmly assured that the season will be a lot of things, but none of them will be positive. Now the fix being discussed is Shea Hillenbrand. Rumors that they may trade young pitchers on the farm, including Hughes. What an idiotic mess.
