Benoit Case Uncovers a Lack Of Understanding of Steroids

While I do agree with a lot of what you say here, especially in regards to the overly simplistic explanation of "roid rage murder" being tossed around and to the myriad of problems in the wrestling industry, I do feel that all of this is simply throwing the rug over whatever the real issues were that caused this tragedy. I have yet to see a single news report or "expert" mention how this fits the pattern of a family annihilation killing, or how all the stories of the Chris Benoit friends, colleagues, and others knew actually match up to the pathology of the other middle aged men who commit these heinous acts of annihilation upon their families. Certainly the lifestyle played a role, even use of steroids may have played a role to some extent, but certainly no different a role than alcohol could have played in the same situation. People (mostly men) from all walks of life commit family annihilation, to say that steroids is the main issue is avoidance of a deeper problem.
