Immigration Bill Shocker

I will start with the lack of the usual way legislation is made that was not done this last time with the emergency of arragance in stiffing the American Public with a bill the Pres. and the Senate knew we would not want. The Senate did not want the American public to know what was in that bill.

Calling us bigots and anti-Hispanic amid many lies that this is "Good for America" was so insulting all of our backs went up. Not only republicans but democrats and independents as well. Congress had no hearings on the impact of Social Security or on the cost. The usual way bills were put together. Our antennas went up as we heard the rush this was given.

Democrats would get voters and republicans would get cheap labor and we, American citizens were stuck with low wages and the cost of overcrowded hospitals and schools.

People that were applying for legal status and paying large amounts to their lawyers were waiting for 8 years or so to become legal. One thing about Americans that all the open border crowd had forgotten. Americans believe in fairness and obeying the law. We learned from the 1986 law that it doesn't work to reward those that break the law.

If you continue to do the same thing over and over again, you get the same results. This bill would have encouraged more illegals and our America, with all different religions and colors that we enjoy and welcome, would be lawless.

No substantial amount of fence has been built. We were promised 750 miles of fence before the last election. Possibly 11 miles have been built with 1 billion dollars waiting to be used for this purpose. Chertoff gave many excuses for why it has not been finished. Illegal immigrants could easily have been found to build the entire fence or give the contract to Donald Trump. He did a great job on a skating rink in New York that lay dormant for years.

We do not believe Pres. Bush (voted for him twice and he insulted me) or the Congress or the entire government anymore.

The United Kingdom are more in control with their laws that catch terrorists than we in the United States. The New York Times gave away most of our strategy during wartime and nothing was done to stop the leaking. No investigations to help our soldiers. Democrats continue to vote against all ways of our soldiers winning the war and are more concerned about the terrorists rights than civilian deaths in our country.

Approximately, 142 democrats voted against the protection of citizens from being sued in case they report something suspicious yet all we hear on radio and television is: Please report something that you think is suspicious. Perhaps you can tell that to the Immans in Minneapolis that are suing the passengers on the plane who were frightened by their actions and are now being sued as John Doe.

When one awakens to hear that 7 suspects have been taken into custody by the Brits after the attempted car bombs failed, and in the next breath we hear that Sen. Leahy is going to charge Pres. Bush with contempt..it tells the American people that the democrats do not have their priorities in order.

Global terror is not a bumper sticker! Our government is more concerned about their hatred of Pres. Bush and winning the next election than in stopping illegal immigrants, that might be terrorists, from entering this country.

The intimidation of the Senate that this was the last time we would ever get a bill to stop illegals from entering this country was a slap in our faces because they did not get their way.

Why should they remain and get paid for ignoring a reasonable bill at this time and threaten us? Most employees that do not do their job get fired instantly. Why should we have to wait for the next election?

So, they threaten us with taking away the poor man's Town Hall Square. Talkradio! Well, it is time for the American people to take back their government who have been living on too many perks and too much power.

Next election, watch the Independent Party grow!
