I have spent a few minutes trying to recall an analysis of taxation of income that was better than your analysis of Warren Buffett's tax rate. I can't. Pulitzer Prizes in recent years have rewarded shoddy work. In a fairer world, this editorial would be submitted for a Pulitzer--or some other prize--and win. It is unlike this writer to gush over stuff he reads in newspapers. Mr. Buffett is an astute investor. He's not so astute on other matters. I don't know how astute the editorial writer is with his or her investments, if any. The writer surely is astute on "other matters."
