Bush's Clemency

It is with much disdain that Americans looked upon this trial as a failure of the entire Justice System and the democratic Congress encouragement to put this sincere public servant in jail because of their hatred of the Bush administration.

We, who always believed, naively, that the innocent will prevail , watched as one after another democrat encouraged Patrick Fitzgerald to find some excuse to continue in order to find something that could tie in with V.P. Cheney and Pres. Bush. The spokesman that came out after the trial almost put his foot in his mouth as he asked, "What about Karl Rove etc?"

It came down to a difference in memory between Tim Russert, whose entire credibility rested on his answers and Scooter Libby, who may have had a bad memory but was much more involved with many more details than Tim Russert had to deal with.

What amazed ordinary Americans was the fact that a foreman of the jury was a neighbor, a reporter for the Washington Post and a compatriate to the elite cocktail parties that are given in D. C. Plus, a District liberal jury did not need much convincing to find anyone connected with this administration, Guilty. Change of venue would have been fair.

Fair? Nothing is fair in this town of our Capital! Reporters take sides and they call themselves. "Independent". Ha!

Sandy Berger is walking around free for stealing "ORIGINAL CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS" and no jail time???? Where was Sen. Schumer when Berger got off without jail time? Is there any blogger or reporter that has some quotes from his outrage at that miscarriage of justice? Berger should have gone to jail for years. What happened to treason during war time? Or the leaking of our strategy in the War in Iraq by the New York Times, the paper not good enough to wrap fish in?

If there are any complaints about what Pres. Bush did, it should be that he left Libby, a felon and did not pardon him outright.

Well, maybe that is not so bad since Maryland democrats are very busy registering felons to vote for the next election.

Anyone who lived during WWII finds this country turned upside down and the inmates running the asylum. Democrats with their speeches against the War in Iraq that help our enemy and put our soldiers in jeoparday, remember whose votes you lost on election day. Do not believe the polls. We are patriotic Americans outraged at your alignment with the enemy.
