Where is the hate? The writer is simply quoting from Cat's own website which states his point of view clearly - and that is where the hate obviously lay.
No one is stating Cat doesn't have the right to his beliefs or that he can't worship as he pleases. What is being questioned is why an organization that is supposedly representing the very best aspects of humanity would chose an artist who's beliefs are contrary to the equality of all humans, and openly states his opposition to freedom of speech and furthermore, given the opportunity, would abet physical harm upon someone with whose views he does not agree (complicit with a fatwa of death).
More surprisingly is that Muslims aren't yet outraged that Sharon Stone might be present as she surely isn't conservative in any manner and makes no attempt to cover her beauty.
The double standard is all to evident - Muslims can criticize everything non-Muslim but when non-Muslims even question anything remotely related to Islam, they are branded haters, racists, or Islamophobes. Even by conservative Western women who are not Muslim.
