Another MVP Foolishly Given To the Guy With All the RBI

Submitted by eric markovich, Nov 29, 2006 09:45

I agree with your story completely. Baseball sports writers should be stripped of all voting rights. From the MVP to the HOF.

I remeber in 98 when Sosa was given the MVP award over McGwire and the standard response as to why was that Sosa took the cubs into the post season. (even though they were K O 'd in the first round). So, where was that line of thinking this year when they gave the MVP to Howard over Pujols. Pujols deserves the NL MVP and McGwire deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

I say again. Strip the voting rights of these "athele wanna-be cheese-dick" sports writers.

My 2 cents.
