Survivors of the death camps knew that in the end no one would help the Jews except Jews. Over the years Israel has become dependent on the US and as the first generation had died off so too has the memory that in the end only Jews will save Jews. Europe has a 1000 year history of throwing Jews over the side of the boat at the sight of trouble. In Eastern Europe states like Russia often promoted pogams to distract from bad news. In the West, the Europeons were more circumspect but also encouraged pogams. Who in France gave the Nazis the list of Jews? Who helped round them up. Now the Europeons have decided the the solution of the problems in the Middle East is the elimination of Isreal. Oh they dont put it that way but thats what they are thinking. Now the left in the US is picking up the idea. If only the Jews would be "reasonable." Reasonable means satisfy Hamas. It means Jews to the sea. I once heard a Senator (George Mitchell) say that "any problem can be solved if you have the right people talking." So talk about this. Hitler said "all the Jews dead." What is the compromise? Half the Jews dead? I happen to be Catholic and so I am in no position to be giving Jews advice but still I say that there are people that want the Jews dead and they are gaining.
