The statement: "It's going to be a real test, a first early test of whether we're a nation of laws or a nation of men," is based onan absudity. It is the law that grants the president of the United States the right to pardon. Actually, more than the law, it is a constitutional right of the president. And he does not have to even justify his actions. As such, it would be a curruption of justice for a court to be influenced (one way or the other) by the president's action!
