Everyone knows Islam is a religion of peace. Granted, since 9-11, Muslims have murdered innocent civilians in Thailand, France, Egypt, Russia, India, Jordan, Spain, Israel, the US, Indonesia, Sudan, Holland, Iraq, Pakistan, etc., but these extremists have hijacked this religion. Sure, Muslims have elected terrorist organization in Palestine and Lebanon, but still, those elections don't mean anything. And don't tell me about the polling data. I know that a frightening percentage of Muslims in every country regard terrorism as a legitimate form of political expression. But so what? Aren't they entiled to their opinions?
Besides, it's not like the Muslims murdered athletes at the 1972 Olympics or blew up a passenger jet over Scottland in the 80's or anything like that. And if you go further back, it's not like the Muslims forced the Egyptians and the Byzantines to convert or occupied Spain for hundreds of years, or attack France and Austria or took millions of European slaves whom they raped and castrated.
Again, show me one shred of evidence that Islam is anything other than a religion of peace.
