The terrorism/universal health care meme that first got exposure on fox news has to be one of the most absurd i've heard.
Firstly, it has absolutely no impact on the united states and the potential for universal health care because there's no reason to assume that the American system would rely so heavily on non-citizens when we have plenty of citizens interested in the work. Reguardless, American society on the whole is much more open to true integration into the mainstream society. We see less examples of SERIOUS homebrewed plots and less dissatisfaction among American Muslims because of this fact.
Even looking to England, the fact that these particular individuals were doctors means little. Indeed, it should not be that surprising that those who launched a rather poorly concieved homebrewed plot would be professionals that recieve a very resonable salary and work together closely. Doctors fit this bill nicely. There was nothing in this attack that required their medical expertise and therefore there is little to be truly concerned about from this face
