2 Park Slope Fathers Dream Big: A Charter Middle School

Submitted by Ainslie Binder, Jul 9, 2007 12:27

I was under the impression that since charter schools receive their charters from the state, they can't restrict applicants to one district. They must, in fact, open access to all city (or state) residents. Also, wouldn't the admission process be by lottery? That would make the applicant pool much larger.
