Questioning Whether Islam Is Religion of Peace

Submitted by Michael McDonald, Jul 9, 2007 15:34

How this kind of commentary can be seen as exceptional or extreme in a world perpetually held to ransom and made to suffer by Islam-inspired violence is a terrifying mystery.

That honest reflection on this subject is hard to find, kept out of view, disapproved of by those who should know better, is as depressing a fact as Ilamic terrorism itself.

Articles like this need to be heard, they need to be considered, they need to become mainstream thought.

The world has a crying need to acquire the confidence to say "Terrorism is an evil, whatever inspires it. Saying so does not make us bigots, it makes us defenders of the civilized values without which there is no human future."
