Something about your post does not ring true James.

You claim that your wife is a practicising Muslim. If that is true, then so are you, for a muslim woman cannot marry a kuffar (infidel or non muslim), he must convert. Which is not the case with kuffar females, a muslim male can marry as many as he wishes without the necessity of their conversion to Islam. But a non muslim man can NOT marry a muslim woman without his conversion.. she becomes kuffar herself if she does, is a disgrace and murtadd (apostate).

Thanks for trying anyway James.

And by the way, Jews and Catholics want or demand that prospective spouses convert befor marriage, but if they don't the penalty does not carry the same weight or severity as it does in Islam.. And I never heard of a non muslim woman marrying an unconverted kuffar except that she didn't leave Islam (apostacize), an entirely different case than in Christianity or Judaism.
