The Iranian opposition, the MEK is the only solution to the crisis that has been created by the Iranian regime. The MEK is a democratic opposition movement, whose sole aim is to bring freedom and democracy to the Iranian people.

The restrictions placed on the MEK as part of a policy of attempting to appease the Iranian regime have been a complete failure. These concessions have only emboldened the Iranian regime. We can see the Iranian regime is going full steam ahead with its ambitions to acquire a nuclear bomb and its support for terrorists throughout the region, especially in Iraq which are are costing hundreds of lives weekly.

The illegitimate listing of the MEK as a terrorist organisation was a shameful concession given to the Iranian regime and it must be reversed immediately. The MEK must be supported as the democratic Iranian opposition. This will not only bring democratic change to Iran, but it will create a stable region and world. Democracy in Iran can only be brought about through the Iranian people and the MEK. This was the clear message that was sent by the tens of thousands of Iranians and tens of politicians from across Europe and the US who were in attendance at the Paris rally.
