Saving Health Care In America

Submitted by Sandra, Jul 10, 2007 10:01

My own college alumni association has a great afforadable insurance plan - however, it is legal in only 48 out of 50 states, and I live in one of the other two NJ - (the other is NY!!) So I have to be on the state's NJ Family care with my children. Having spent my early career billing insurance for obstetricians, I know how to navigate insurance systems - I thought. NJ Family Care is almost completely dysfunctional.. i have spent months fixing mistake after mistake. I'd send paperwork - and they'd say they'd never received it. I'd say - but I have a delivery confirmation signature. Then they'd ho and hum and say - We'll it probably got shredded - send it again - in the meantime your insruance is cancelled. Incompetent, careless - and callous. This will be all of our insurance experience with government health care.
