There is a reason this nation was founded...to break from tyranny. As histroy progressed this nation welcomed the weak and downtroddened to a better way of life. WE THE PEOPLE became a great nation because those who joined us over the years understood that they were leaving behind something less than freedom. WE THE PEOPLE still welcome newcomers but expect them to arrive here legally and leave their countries baggage behind, leave their alligences behind, and start anew.
Governments such as Mexico see the United States as a place to deposit their problems. They see the WE THE PEOPLE as deep pockets from which they can prosper with little or no effort on their own part. They aid and abet their "peasants", their criminals, and anyone who pays the right price, to enter the US. Keep in mind that no attempt is made to stop visitors from South America to use Mexico as a stepping stone for terrorist organisations to the US.
The United States government, the politicians elected by WE THE PEOPLE, need to abide by their oath, a sacred oath, the protect and defend the Constitution of the United. The first three words of the document are WE THE PEOPLE, ergo, to protect and defend includes WE THE PEOPLE. The President, Senators, Representative need to get their act together and up hold that oath
