Under government health care, when someone dies who shouldn't - and it will happen - if the government is unsuccessful in covering it up, what force will supply the incentive to fix the flaw that caused the death? Certainly not competition.
When all the medical centers and their employees become government employees, what power will the unions, who all support government health care, to effect financial betterment for themselves. As essential workers, they will no doubt be forbidden to strike (recall the air traffic controllers), and there will be no other employment options for them to invoke.
