Makes sense to me. I think it is quite logical to conclude that if the Bible is indeed true, as Christians claim it to be (me being one of them), then the events in the Bible can be verified empirically in the real world. The Christian faith is not something that exists in the realm of myth or mere wishful thinking. No, indeed it is much more than that. It is a truth claim. The Christian faith is something that rests on historical fact. The Jesus of the Bible is Jesus of history. Likewise, the Jeremiah of the Bible is the Jeremiah of history.
