‘Sicko' Control of Health Care
in response to reader comment: Gov't hassles

I love the fact of free health care and the gov't picking up the bill. Oh...what a dream and the fact that Mr. Moore is in the high tax bracket and Mr. Scott Baker will pick up most of the federal taxes for me. So, I can get treated than I am all for it. I can only dream. I am fresh kid straight out of college and would love it, if he picked up the majority. It is bad enough the cost living in certain areas make it rough to live but to pay more in taxes so that a person who can afford health insurance can take a ride on easy street........no thanks. They forget we have more people in Canada and that there are Canadians that hate the health care system that they have. I have one question for Mr. Moore what happens to the doctor himself and the surgeaon. I just would like to know, if the doctors have to take a dramatic pay cut. Will the gov't pick up there court fees for mal practice incident cost and the court fees that go with it. The Gov't answer would be raise the taxes. I am just trying to prove a point that the reason for such high cost is Mal Practice fees and Mal-Practice insurance. Moore leaves out the fact that the people of the United States don't want to wait in line and don't want the high federal taxes.

The quality of doctors in Cuba are not the best as they are here. Why do Canadians come here for treatment. Why, do Cubans risk there lives to get to Florida to critize our health system no it is the American dream. What happend to medic-aid and medi-care? You know are health care is a hard one to swollow, but when it comes to quality and knowledge of certain rare diseases and access to the best hospitals. I would take America over Cuba or Canada. If, you want to cut the cost of health care you need to cap what a person can sue for in a mal-practice case. What about the people employeed by health insurance companies will they lose their jobs and its bad enough people are looking for work. I think its wrong to label health insurance companies as all bad people trying to make a buck. Moore wants us to become socialist gov't where we wil become a number and no longer an indepandent individual.
