I seriously doubt anyone from the suburbs, paying really high real estate taxes will agree to send their children to NYC schools while those from a much lower taxed jurisdiction will enjoy th benefits of the suburban taxpayers' largess. If this happens, why would any suburbanite vote themslves to pay higher taxes for any school budget?
