71 years after another appeaser would sacrifice Czechoslovakia at Munich with an agreement that would only enbolden the Germans to continue their conquest of Europe, and , eventually, the world, we now hear of his spiritual heirs once again sacrificing another country - this time Israel.

However, if Chamberlain offered Czechoislovakia as a sacrifice on the altar appeasement out of naivete, one has to question the motives of one who once proclaimed characterized Jews with a four letter obscentity and who now offers the only officially Jewish nation as his sacrifice

The great philosopher , Santayana , once commented that those who neglect the lessons of history are condemned to relive it. Indeed, appeasement has always begotten greater demands by those evil fgorces intent on dominating the world. Should James Baker's alleged proposals take form, no doubt the same result would occur.
