What people have to understand its not about protecting the public, its about government protecting itself. The 2nd Amendment is a check / balance for U.S. citizens against a tryancial government. You take away the 2nd Amendment and the rest of our rights go right with it and this is what the people in power who are anti-2nd Amendment realize.

Remember the the 2nd Amendment is the do over button for us and that makes them "people in power" very afraid.
