Hillel, I see two or three small problems with your approach;
1) Who's to say which stay and which are to be sent back?!
2) Who's to say, as the Spanish discover every day during every summer, that those who are sent back won't try again and again and again?! And in ever-increasing numbers!
3) Who's to say if among all those genuinely suffering refugees there are not one or two who are not?!
Are you going to go down to the camp personally to cull them?
The Egyptians are encouraging, maybe even forcing this, so that the world, and the media, will have one more stick with which to beat Israel.
Nobody is talking about how little the world is doing for Darfur; all everybody is seeing is how badly Israel is treating refugees from there!
