Even now Coughlin calls pass plays when he has the lead (last game), and Eli doesn't have decent protection. I honestly think that if Eli would run up the middle and slide if there is no one open, and no time left, he wouldn't throw so many interceptions, or lose as many yards. And on the plus slide he won't take hits as hard (sliding that is). Even if he legal grounds the ball it would be better, but he still tries to make a play when there is none to be made.
