...but then, 35+ years would be a long time for pure luck alone to hold up. I don't expect to influence what other people do or don't believe, and certainly experiences will vary from one person to the next. But , our experiences in so many situations in so many different parts of France over the years, both in public and in people's homes, have been so positive that I do have to question the "Gallic disdain" bit. I hope Valerie's luck will improve, and I'll bet that in time it will --
