Long-Vacant Harlem School Site Moves Toward Development

Submitted by Len, Jul 16, 2007 12:23

The whole problem with the word 'affordable' is that it is given from the perspective of multi-millionaires. So while the middle managers can live in these new spaces, the vast majority of New York's workers are nowhere near those earnings. 'Low income' is now what middle class once was, so it's time to grab Bloomberg by the neck and tell him to create 600,000 'LOW INCOME' APARTMENTS before the city is completely overrun by people stupid enough to pay 3 times as much as they should for fresh fruits and vegetables, if you know what I mean!
