The information about Rhys Vineyards in this article nicely supplemented the Winery's website. The information about the surrounding open space on Skyline Boulevard is misleading. Most of the open space around the Skyline Vineyard is owned and managed by the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (MROSD), a public agency, not the Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST), a private group. Other nearby open space is part of the Santa Clara County Parks system (Upper Stevens Creek County Park.) MROSD, not POST, does have the power of eminent domain and has used it on several occasions in the past.

I lived near the Skyline Vineyard for over 30 years, and am currently writing a history of the area.
