Barnard Alumnae Opposing Tenure for Anthropologist
in response to reader comment: Opposed to hiring of Ms. Abu El-Haj.

Submitted by Rosanne Leeson, Nov 29, 2006 19:18

As a Barnard Alumna I am also shocked and appalled that consideration would even be given to such a biased person by my Alma Mater. I have always taken pride in the objective, serious scholarship which has characterized my school. I am trusting in the integrity of our President, Judith Shapiro, also an Anthropologist, to see the personal agenda that Ms. Abu El-Haj is attempting to foist off on current students, while using Barnard College for her bully pulpit!
