A Police Shooting
in response to reader comment: If this is not about race....

Submitted by Renz aka Judge Dredlok, Nov 29, 2006 19:28

No matter what color or race background the so-called officers are, have no doubts that this shooting has occurred due to racism.

We can debate the facts behind the racial beliefs of the so-called officers involved, but it's a proven fact that many civilisations throughout our own human history have been formed, created and sustained by and with racialist policies... our society and our world as it exists today, is no different! This shooting and many others sharing the same blood type, if not propogated from the racist beliefs of any of the so-called officers involved, stem from the systematic racism that is so far embedded into our society, that to the majority its "just life"!

This problem will never go away, if "we all" dont make fundemental changes to our societies and our lives, no matter what your racial background is! We are all part of the problem, thus we are all part of the solution. Yes police brutality by so-called oficers must stop immediately but at the same time, we the members of minority groups must rise from the hardships we face and change our own social environments, which only serve to aid those with power to continue on thier course of genocidal policies! It's not going to be an easy road but we as peoples must rise above and empower ourselves as human beings before we can "command" the respect we rightly deserve. Until this happens, sadly we wil be subjected too many years ahead of only being able to "demand" these rights!

As a wise man was said .. "all power to the people".
