Instead of concentrating on newly fading illusions one should concentrate on finding a way to neutralize the militant fanatics. They exist in Lebanon, Gaza, The West Bank, Egypt, Iraq, etc. Even the Saudis bow to their demands. I am sure most "Palestinians", Arabs, Muslims, would prefer some form of peace to what currently exists. But they cannot make their desires known because the extremeists would then kill them or family members. Too much emphasis is placed on the "visible" leadership, more should be placed on the "hidden" leadership. They are the ones with the real power.
