If the problem eminates from the Muslim communities, then it is perfectly rational to restrict Muslim immigration so as to avoid increasing the size of the pool from which these problems arise. Indeed, to fail to so restrict such immigration, at precisely the point in time when such problems are on a definite rise, would be plainly irrational.
