I'm amazed how the this mayor, after this many years in office, still thinks he has been elected as the Mayor or the Tri-State New York Metropolitian Area, and not the elected representive of the 5 Boroughs of New York City. The plan of his would have stripped Brooklynites their right to drive in the City that they live in, and then have to PAY for the privledge to do so with a bunch of out of towners from Westchester, Nasau and New Jersey.

I'm all for congestion control. And it is very simple. Every resident of New York City gets a single sticker and all the streets and bridges in rush hour are to be restricted to trucks or residents. Everyone else can take Mass Transit.

And while were at it, we need to dump the MTA and gain accountable control of the city mass transit system again. We finally gained control of the Education System, not it is time to get control of our subways and bridges.
