Biggio Nears a Remarkable, Albeit Painful, Record

Submitted by John Koonce, Jul 18, 2007 23:27

Craig Biggio is, in my opinion, the epitome of a great ballplayer. He is always a hustler and obiviously loves the game. He just does his job, and does it well. He is playing on a mediocre team at best this year but if you notice the box score, he seems to rarely go hitless. Now playing second base and occasionally pinch-hitting, he probably has played all positions except pitcher in his illustrious career. I know that he played a number of seasons as catcher. I hope , and feel, that he will go into the baseball hall of fame on the first ballot, which he surely deserves.
