Obama Unveils Plan To Cure the Ills of Urban America

Submitted by Mike Hughes, Jul 19, 2007 14:40

All I ever hear from the Dems is oh, those poor urban americans. The dems want to blame the fact that "we" don't do enough for them. Come on people, can they do something for themselves. My kids go to school and learn. They don't take weapons to school, act unruley, threaten, fight, do drugs etc at school. If they did I'd kick their A__. It's about time we take care of all the bad guys in urban america with tough punishment so that the stars (and there are many) can shine. Then we'd see "urban america" as a class climb the economic ladder like the rest of us have done. I believe in aiding them, but in a way that demands some responsibility from them in return. I do understand the challanges they face, however only they can learn and be better people, we can't do it for them.
