A great find!!!

But I don't get this Finkel guy. If he is such an 'expert' at the British museum, why does he say "I think that it means that the whole of the narrative [of Jeremiah] takes on a new kind of power"? The prophecies of scripture have long been known to Bible scholars to have great veracity. Jeremiah does not take on some new kind of power. Jeremiah has always had it. Maybe Mr. (Dr.?) Finkel just could not acknowledge it until he was a piece of it somehow. And doesn't calling this discovery "the most important find in Biblical archaeology for 100 years" ignore the Dead Sea Scrolls discovered in the mid-twentieth century? I think Nebuchadnezzar's chief eunuch's receipt is a very important find. But to exceed the Dead Sea Scrolls? That would be a stretch.
