This triangle might be the triangle in the American Great Seal, the one designed in 1776 by a group of four that included Benjamin Franklin, and is often thought to be a symbol of freemasonry. Perhaps the eye that goes inside the triangle, as well as the sunīs rays emanating from the triangle, were painted on plasterwork on that wall.
