Seriously, please tell me that last paragraph was a joke?! While Cheney is still wildly popular with a very small segment of the hard right of the Republican party, he is thought of as more of a problem than a solution my most of the moderate Republicans, he's thought of as a serious problem by most of the independents, he's seen as a disgrace and core creator of the problem by moderate Dem's, and he's Satan incarnate to everyone even remotely identifying themselves as on the left of the Democratic party. What the US (and the Republican party) really doesnt need right now is the most polarising Vice President in history entering the Presidential race. He will unite the centre and left in far more of a way than Hilary can unite the right together.
