The spokesperson for the DEA in this article says, "There has been no scientific determination by the federal government that there is any such thing as medical marijuana."

I have just one question for this person. If there has been "no scientific determination by the federal government that there is any such thing as medical marijuana", then why does the federal government grow and supply marijuana to a select number of disease-ridden citizens? Futhermore, why does the federal government label their marijuana (grown at the University of Mississippi) for "medicinal use only?"
