Maybe instead of holding regular phone calls with Rupert in the days before the Iraq invasion, as the diaries also report, Blair should have had them with James. But then James doesn't run a newspaper that gave Blair's party full support each time before he was elected in Britain and throughout, so long as he toed Rupert's line on everything...
