The critic here claims that this film connects "the policy dots that have been ignored in other Iraq documentaries". Those films didn't ignore policy, they showed the result of policy in human terms.
You don't need to go watch a "102 minute marathon of mishap" to know the war is a tragic fiasco.
More, we don't need to learn this from a director--Charles Ferguson--who supported the war in the beginning.
