There's No Substitute For Freedom To Choose

Dear, Alicia

Granted the British, Canadian, and French Health Care systems may not be 100% as they seemed in the Sicko Documentary, they're certainly a better system than having half the population without Health Care benefits at one time or the other. In the Richest Country on the Planet, I'm sure we can come up with better alternatives than those we're use to. Besides, Aren't we about building a better mouse trap? Besides, those that can pay for their health care, will do so anyway.

Would'nt a system that cares for Our most needy of citizens,(children & Elderly) warrant a more profound approach. I suppose it's been studied and found that those populations are the most taxed on our system right now and their health & wellbeing can be better served through a more preventative approach.

Though I'm not for total socialization, I am for a combination involving the three dynamics of free enterprise, socialization and some where in between.
