i dont think the Nets would need a dominant post player. look at mikki moore, he wasnt even recognized til he turned to a monster playing for kidd. i bet his new team wouldnt make much use of him once realizing that it is kidd who brings out his game. and i do think magloire would get his form back if he fit kidds play.
rj shouldnt be traded for he turns so dangerous with kidd around, and theyve been playing for years, making their game complement each other. give rj the chance to bounce back from his injury.
if they do need a PF, they would need someone to complement kidd's game... which is running, defense, hustle and a lot of toughness. if we have to be reminded, there was that PF who once fit that bill, who helped them make two trips to the finals... Kmart. im not pushing for the Nets to get him again, but do get someone in his mold. if they get someone faster, stronger or tougher, that would be better. i know its a long shot, but i do hope theyd consider someone like david lee or josh smith.
