An eloquent and pithy account of this gifted and important artist. Many of us "grew up" with Bergman, and coming to terms with him was a significant stage for us to experience. Mr. Ivry did a fine (all-too- short) an account of Bergman's many facets. Now I must go and catch up to a number of the later works which I missed.
