It's foolish to let Schumer frame the discussion. He knows as well as anyone else how much revenue is coming in. If we stand back and look dispassionately at what will happen I think we'll detect the true objective. There are still a hard core of political philosophers who refuse to understand why economic policies that rob the worker of motivation are doomed to failure. Their objective is to replace the motivated GNP generating entrepreneur with the government power broker who doles out the means of survival. --Art Dieli, Sacramento
