Mayor Bloomburg jumps to the defense of the black community of this City when it serves his purpose. In the case of the Bell shooting, it makes him look like the compassionate politician when basically, he doesn't want to deal with an unruly black backlash. Bloomberg can kick the NYPD around because he's the boss. A thorough and complete investigation of this incident must take place while the Mayor must exhibit unbiased behavior in the public forum.
