The Residential Market, Too, Surges in Harlem

In your article, one of the gentlemen commenting on the new construction condos alludes to the fact that the new building on 5th ave near 120th will be Harlem's first concierge building. That is emphatically not true because I live in the "first" concierge building. A luxury condo on 135th and Frederick Douglass called Strivers Gardens. The building opened in 2005 and I was one of the first to move in. We have always had 24-hour concierge; we also have a private gym, an art gallery, an open air terrace for residents, as well as parking (seperate fee). Our buiding was dubbed the "Crown Jewel of Harlem" from which many of the new construction are basing their developments on in terms of design, ammenities, etc. Please make sure your facts are correct before allowing 'so-called' experts to comment on Harlem.

Thank You.
