Steep hill is right! I live in the neighborhood and bike around quite often but I avoid 91st street because the hill is so steep and the cobblestone street is uneven. If you bike up 87th street or even 89th the terrain is more level. 91st is really not the ideal street to bike up. So even if it is put in I doubt many cyclist would use it.

That said the City really does need more bike lanes. Especially on 2nd avenue and down 90th street (for the return ride from the park.
