Taiwan Appeals to Communists in Its Bid for Seat at the U.N.

The U.N.'s predictable, and disappointing response is a disheartening slap in the face of a young and struggling democracy trying survive in the shadow of a ruthless, immoral and corrupt communist nation, China. The U.N. and their so called leader, Mr. Ban, have proved that they are nothing more and bureaucratic puppets content to be wielded by the most powerful members. I applaud the New York Sun for giving just and due coverage to Taiwan's struggle for democracy, the U.N.'s hypocrisy, and China's communist oppression.
